The Roloff’s, part 25 Most Memorable People on Evening Magazine

Five years before Little People Big World became a fan favorite every Monday night, Evening Magazine, from NBC affiliate King 5 in Seattle, did a story on Matt Roloff when he was promoting his book “Against Tall Odds” Matt credits that interview as one of the catalysts that led the family to TLC and reality television stardom.
Saint Bryan, an award winning reporter at Evening Magazine re-visited Matt and Amy on the farm recently as part of EM’s 25th anniversary on the air and the story about the 25 most memorable people they have featured on their show.

‘Little People, Big World’ Returns to TLC With 4 New Specials!

The network has ordered the Roloff’s back to TV

If after last year’s Little People, Big World series finale, you were concerned about the state of Matt and Amy Roloff’s marriage, or if they decided to sell the farm, and how the older boys, Jeremy and Zach Roloff, are doing as adults, TLC has a solution for your curiosity.

TLC has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that it has ordered four new specials with the Roloffs. Production has already begun with the first one currently scheduled to air in early October. The first special will address some of the cliffhangers in the series finale.

“The response from the fans since Little People Big World’s finale has been overwhelming, asking how we’re doing and what’s the latest with the kids,” Matt and Amy Roloff say in a joint statement. “These specials are going to be a great opportunity to share our families’ updates with our fans from time to time through the year.”

“Across six seasons, the Roloffs shared unfiltered access to their remarkable lives, and these specials are a great opportunity to update the TLC audience on their latest developments,” says TLC GM, Amy Winter. “Matt and Amy will always be part of our network’s family and we know their fans will be excited to reconnect.”

The reality series was the first to focus on a family comprised of both little and average-sized members. It ran from 2006-2010.

Gay Rosenthal Productions is producing the specials for TLC.

The Roloff Family and TLC Announce the Final Season of Little People, Big World

Breaking News from The Roloff Family:

After an unprecedented 6 seasons and 229 primetime episodes shown around the world, the Roloff family and TLC are announcing the Final season of Little People, Big, World.

“We are very proud of what we have accomplished on behalf of Little People and ALL people of difference. We are honored by TLC’s courage to educate people and break down barriers and stereotypes. We now look forward to sharing and continuing our adventurous life and lessons in the future” said Matt Roloff.

“The show has been an amazing and unforgettable experience for our entire family. Over the past 5 years we have shared the most rewarding journey that will forever be in our hearts. We are gearing up to begin new and exciting adventures as a family and we look forward to starting the next chapter of the Roloffs.  We will always be grateful to our TLC family, and most of all, our fans.”

In addition to above, we would also like to express our gratitude to our wonderful production company, Gay Rosenthal Productions, Inc.

We couldn’t have done it without the unshakable support of our Executive Producers and, particularly the day-to-day efforts of our on site film crews and field producers.

Amy and I want to thank our families who gave us support during this crazy adventure. We also want to thank each and every person we met along the way who helped contribute to our successes.

Although saying goodbye is always bittersweet… the excitement of what lies just ahead keeps us focused and inspired.

Stay tuned …. The series is ending for now…. But it’s definitely not over!
